Chandigarh : Founder’s Day Celebrations at Kundan
International School Embraced the Theme ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ with Grandeur and celebrated its Founder’s Day with grandeur on October 20, 2023, in the school
premises located in Sector-46B, Chandigarh.
The event was graced by Maj. Gen.
Neeraj Bali, SM (Retd), who honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest. The school’s Managing Committee, including Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Jain, President, and Col
(Dr) Rajesh Jasial, Director, formally welcomed the esteemed Chief Guest.Mrs. Yogesh Jadli, the school’s Principal delivered an inspiring speech highlighting
the school’s achievements and extended a warm welcome to all the guests.
She applauded the relentless efforts put in by the diligent students and dedicated teachers. The program kicked off with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, casting a glow of positivity and unity. The event was a resounding success, commencing with a warm welcome from Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Jain, President.
The show commenced with a conversation among five university friends at the vibrant Brazil Carnival stage. Intrigued by the idea of exploring India’s diversity, they embarked on a captivating journey. Throughout the performance, a plethora of diverse dance forms unfolded, weaving a tapestry of India’s rich culture.
These included Retro Dance, Ganesh Vandana, the enchanting Pratya Vandan, classical dance performances, a wedding showcase from West Bengal, a skit portraying the theme “Atithi Devo Bhava” from Madhya Pradesh and captivating folk dance performances from the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan,
and Punjab. The show was a mesmerizing tribute to the multifaceted cultural
heritage of India.
The choreography for most of these splendid dance performances was masterfully executed by Mr. Kunal Bhardwaj, an energetic dance teacher of the school. Furthermore, Kundan International School took the opportunity to recognize and
felicitate its outstanding teachers and students for their exceptional
achievements in various fields. This acknowledgment of their dedication and hard work added to the overall charm of the event. Kundan International School’s Founder’s Day Celebrations will be etched in the memories of all those who
attended, embodying the spirit of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava,’ where guests are truly treated as gods.
