Vineet Joshi Urges Administration to Take Proactive Steps to Ease Festival Traffic Congestion in Kurali
Kurali : Traffic congestion in Kurali’s narrow market lanes is causing considerable inconvenience to residents and shopkeepers, with the situation becoming particularly challenging during the festive season. Vineet Joshi, State Media Head of BJP Punjab and Mukh Sewadar of the Kharar Assembly constituency, has urged the administration to make adequate arrangements in advance to ensure public safety and convenience.
Joshi said Kurali is a major hub for firecracker sales, attracting buyers from neighbouring towns and villages during the festive season. He pointed out that traffic congestion not only inconveniences commuters but also affects the business of local shopkeepers, while customers struggle to reach the markets.
He stressed the need to strike a balance between smooth traffic management and the interests of local traders, ensuring that customers can access the markets without unnecessary delays.
Joshi called for the deployment of additional traffic police personnel during the festive season and urged the administration to implement a comprehensive traffic management plan. He said timely intervention and proper arrangements would help prevent congestion and ensure that residents and visitors from surrounding areas can move around Kurali without unnecessary inconvenience.
