People take selfies with the tableaus based on the concept of spreading out Punjab’s History and Culture

Tableaus prepared by the Punjab Government depicting the Great Warriors of Punjab, Mai Bhago – Women Empowerment
and Punjabi Culture left a deep impression on the people by hitting the roads of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district today.
On entering Kurali, the tableaus were given a warm welcome by the locals led by Jodha Singh Mann (father of Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann). He said that the history and culture of Punjab are unparalleled and no one can downplay it. He applauded the efforts of the Punjab Government to exhibit the tableaus prepared for National Republic Day but were not allowed to parade there.
The tableaus narrated and showcased the history of great warriors of Punjab; Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, Dr Dewan Singh Kalepani, Madan Lal Dhingra, Lala Hardyal, Sardar Ajit Singh (Pagri Sambhal Jatta), Baba Khadag Singh, Saga of Jalllianwala Bagh, Great Women Warrior Mai Bhago who inspirated the 40 Muktas to join tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji again and the Punjabi Culture viz Phulkari etc.
Today, the route travelled by the tableaus started from Kurali to Kharar and halted at Chappar Chirri Khurd for departure to the next destination tomorrow.
At Kharar the tableaus were received by Tehsildar Jaswinder Singh. The tableaus attracted the people and besides witnessing they took selfies with them too. They said that the great history and culture being depicted through these tableaus would be beneficial for the young generation to connect them with their roots.
