MOHALI : Assault on federal structure can only be repulsed by strong regional parties and Shiromani Akali Dal is the only party which can safeguard Punjab’s long-term interests including farming, youth and industry. The views were expressed by leading Chartered Accountant and prominent economist well known across tri-city for his humanitarian pursuits CA Harjeet Singh here after party Chief , Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal formally ushered him in.
SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal went to CA Harjeet Singh’s home and formally joined him into the party.
Expressing his gratitude towards the Party President, Harjeet Singh said the ideology and philosophy of Late Sardar Parkash Singh Badal remains the guiding force of the party to safeguard Punjab’s aspirations and rights. The vicious assault by centre on Punjab’s fields and water are the most pressing concerns and only SAD has the ideology and gumption to preserve Punjab’s autonomy from this oppression.
