Chandigarh:
Under the Environment education program, Department to Biotechnology organized a cycle Rally under the guidance of Prof Kashmir Singh from Panjab University to Sukhna lake and back.
Rally organised in collaboration with Punjab State council for science and technology and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change.
The purpose of the rally was to create awareness for environment protection and discouraging single use plastics. The Rally was flagged of by Dr Jatinder K Arora Executive Director, PSCST in the presence of dignitaries such as Prof RC Sobti (Former VC PU), Dr Kulbir Singh Bath Joint Director, PSCST, Prof Neena Capalash, Prof Jagtar Singh, Prof Gurjaspreet Singh, Dr Jodh Singh and others.
More than 150 Participant were present in the rally. Organizers thanks to Chandigarh cycling groups, Dil se and Cyclegarh, Led by Mr Amandeep Singh Romana and Ms Misha Brar respectively for their active participation in the event.
