Chandigarh: All-round team performance led Chandigarh to a convincing second consecutive win by defeating Sikkim by eight wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket Tournament played at Dr DY Patil University Ground, Mumbai on Tuesday.
Earlier, Sikkim won the toss and decided to bat first, which proved fatal for them. Pace attack Sandeep Sharma and Murugan Ashwin kept Chandigarh on the upper hand in the first 15 overs and sent back seven players with 44 runs on the board.
