CGC Jhanjeri organised Fashion Extravaganza of Meraki 2024, and Mr & Miss India International Star 2024. On the first day over 45 budding designers participated in more than 150 dresses based on over 15 themes, “Meraki” was a testament to the passion and talent of young minds. Each collection narrated a unique story, showcasing the individuality and creativity of the students. From the enchanting themes of Heera Mandi to the rustic charm of Agriculture, the runway was adorned with a kaleidoscope of colors, designs, and silhouettes, captivating the audience with its sheer brilliance.
On the second day also 6 selected themes were displayed, recognized and awarded in various categories like Best Inspiration, Best Innovative Designs, Best Designer, Best Use of Textile, Rising Star, Rising Avant Garde Collection.
The first day was graced with the presence of Elina Chauhan, a luminary figure in choreography and Dhruva Sharma, a versatile icon as a model and actor, and Shagufi Khan, a revered influencer and model. The second day was graced with the presence of Sara Gurpal, a well-known in entertainment, Gautam Singh, a model , and Rumman Ahmad, a fashion icon Their presence elevated the event to new heights, casting a spellbinding charm as they contributed their expertise and discerning insights to the proceedings.
Managing Director CGC Jhanjeri,Arsh Dhaliwal said that such events serve as invaluable platforms to immerse students in the vibrant pulse of the fashion industry, providing them with firsthand exposure to its intricacies and challenges.
