The District Administration, SAS Nagar is in the process of engaging consultant for the preparation of Supplementary District Survey Report in terms of Sustainable Sand Mining Management Guidelines, 2016 and Enforcement & Monitoring Guidelines for Sand Mining, 2020 issued by MOEF&CC and in accordance with the various directions issued by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble High Court and Hon’ble National Green Tribunal, from time to time.
Disclosing this Ketan Khanna, District Minning Officer, said that the notice for Expression of Interest along with various details can be downloaded from the official website of the department i.e.https://minesandgeology.punjab.gov.in.
