Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri conducted Two day National Level Grand Finale of ‘Smart India Hackathon-2023’ (SIH 2023) Senior Software category. It is organized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE ) and the Ministry of Education. During inauguration ceremony Dr. R. K. Soni, Advisor II, AICTE was Chief Guest. While Sh. Rakesh Sehgal, Senior Director, CDAC Mohali, Mansvi Pal, Associate Director-Academic Alliance-upgrade and Sukhdeep Singh, Quastech Solutions Pvt. Ltd was Guest of Honour.
As many as 27 teams participating in the event. Each team showcased their innovative solutions and problem-solving skills, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the SIH Grand Finale. It chose highest the scores of students across the country participating in a 36-hour software product development competition to ideate innovative solutions for problem statements shared by the Ministry of Commerce and industry and Ministry of Defence.
The Smart India Hackathon is aimed at fostering innovation and problem-solving in the field of technology. It brings together the brightest minds across the country to collaboratively address real-world challenges through innovative software solutions
Congratulating the participating teams of Hackathon, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President of CGC said that at CGC Jhanjeri we encourage new and innovative ideas and to promote innovative thinking and entrepreneur mindset in young students such events will be organized in the forthcoming too.
