Chandigarh : Three generations dedicated to Literature are going to release three books together on Saturday 21st August 2021 at 10.30 am at Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector-16 (Rose Garden), Chandigarh. The eldest of all, Shri Ripudaman Singh Roop, brother of Shiromani Sahitkar Santokh Singh, will be launching his collection of stories titled ‘Pahu Futale Tak’. Roop’s son being second generation, playwright Sanjeevan Singh is coming up with his book ‘Daftar’ and youngest of all Shri Roop’s granddaughter Advocate Ritu Raag has just marked the beginning of her innings with an English poetry collection titled as ‘You & I’.
The event will be organized by Punjabi Lekhak Sabha (Reg.) Chandigarh with the efforts of Balkar Sidhu, President and Deepak Chanarthal, General Secretary, Punjabi Lekah Sabha, Chandigarh. The function will be presided over by Mr. Surinder Singh Tej, former (Chief Editor, Punjabi Tribune) and the key speakers for the three books will be Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sirsa (General Secretary, Central Punjabi Writers’ Association) Dr. Kuldeep Singh Deep (playwright and critic) Dr. Bhim Inder, Head, (Department of Punjabi Literary Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala).
