Here, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment, and build solutions for local businesses and their community at a very early phase of their life. Guiding students under GDSC, Suraj will also enable fellow students to prepare for cloud careers under ‘Google Cloud career readiness program”.
Elated Suraj Mani shares: “At LPU, I have become more passionate about creating special impact by imbibing a strong technical understanding of programming/software engineering. Moreover, working with student organizations at the campus, I also have good experience of leading a team and event planning. Many of my seniors at LPU (like Bibin Babu, Khageshwar Izardar and more) had also got such a coveted opportunity through which they are now onto high podiums. I will also strive hard as expected and bring name and fame to self, university and the country.”
Mani is to grow student- knowledge on developer products and platforms through hands-on workshops and events. He will also identify local partners to work with and lead project building activities. As such, he will earn professional growth too. Through this, he will have access to the global network of student leaders, professional community organizers, industry experts and more. In fact, as per a survey report, maximum of the thus selected “GDSC Leads” have found a job, internship or started their own venture due to their vast experience with Google Developer Student Clubs.
