Within 4 months of acquiring the Da Vinci Xi 4th Generation Robotic System, Sohana Hospital has successfully completed 50 surgeries. The CME served as a platform to shed light on the unparalleled benefits of robotic-assisted procedures in Urology and Uro-oncology, Complex hernia repairs, Gynaecology and Cancer surgeries.
Robotic Surgery’s minimally invasive approach brings forth, a plethora of advantages such as Smaller Incisions, Minimal Blood Loss, and Faster Return to Normal Activities. Dr. Karamveer Singh Sabharwal, Dr. Hena Dhingra, Dr. Vivek Rahanoo and Dr. Shyam Sundar Trehan – accomplished Robotic Surgeons in their own specialties, represented Sohana Hospital Mohali at the CME.
