Classes 1 and 2 of Shivalik Public School,Mohali celebrated its Annual Function,2023 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. The programme commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Director of the School, Shri D.S Bedi; Guest of Honour, Ms. Gurkiran Jeet Nalwa, Educational Advisor and Principal,Shivalik Public School,Chandigarh and Dr. (Ms) Jyoti Soni ,Principal ,Shivalik Institute of Education and Research, Mohali. Dr ( Ms.) Anupkiran Kaur , Principal of the School , presented the School Annual Report of the session, 2023- 2024.
The Cultural programme, ‘Harmony, 2023’ was an amalgamation of Regional and folk dances depicting the unique cultural heritage of the country. The coordination, expressions, delivery and confidence of the young brigade, clad in vibrant attires left everyone in awe. This was followed by the ‘Medal Ceremony’ where 100 percent students were awarded medals.
Mrs. Gurkiran Jeet Nalwa, in her concluding address, was superlative in her appreciation of the students for a magnificent programme presented. She lauded the relentless work done by the students. She urged parents to encourage and praise their children for their good work and achievements.
The Grand finale, ‘Unity in diversity’ was a befitting culmination of the well coordinated performances.
The programme ended with the rendition of the National Anthem.
