JALANDHAR: To celebrate National Sports Day, many activities were conducted among five branches (GMT, Loharan, CJR, KPT, and NurpurRoad) of Innocent Hearts School. The school virtually celebrated National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand. The students prepared a collage of Olympics winners.
They saluted them and congratulated them by writing beautiful messages. The students of Grade V participated in poster-making activity whereas the students of grade IV took part in slogan writing activity and wrote interesting slogans on sportsmanship. HOD of Sports Department, Sanjeev Bhardwaj highlighted during online classes that sportsmanship is quite necessary to play any sport. Winning and losing don’t matter much but every game can be won with a true spirit of sportsmanship.
