Mohali: Parvinder Singh Sohana, Chief Sevadar of Shiromani Akali Dal Mohali constituency, has strongly condemned the issuing of notices of large sums of arrears to people in different phases and sectors by GMADA.
Parvinder Singh Sohana said that notices have been issued by GMADA to people in many areas in which their dues have been shown. He said that such notices are also being issued to the allottees of the flats allotted to the riot victims by the Akali Dal.
Chief Sevadar Parvinder Singh Sohana said that the big thing is that when a person takes such a notice and goes to inquire in GMADA, it is found out that it is happening due to a software error.
Parvinder Singh Sohana said that such notices have disturbed people’s sleep at night. He said that people are being harassed by Gmada for no reason.
He said that the big thing is that notices are being issued to many people who have got the property in their name by taking NOC a few days ago, they are also getting such notices while Gmada gives NOC only when all dues are paid. He said that on one hand the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab claims to stand with the common people and on the other hand the common people are being harassed for no reason.
If the notices are not immediately withdrawn, the Akali Dal will stage a dharna in front of Gmada’s office: Parvinder Singh Sohana
He warned the GMADA officials that the wrongly issued notices should be withdrawn immediately and the people should be given proper information in this regard, otherwise the Shiromani Akali Dal will stage a dharna in front of the GMADA office along with the victims of Mohali.
