Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, on Thursday expressed deep grief over the sad demise of S. Ratan Singh Kakar Kalan.
In a press communique issued here, the Speaker stated that S. Ratan Singh Kakar Kalan was an honest leader being in charge of Aam Aadmi Party constituency Shahkot (Jalandhar). He said that S. Ratan Singh was admitted to the hospital due to a stomach infection and died during the treatment. He said that S. Ratan Singh Kakar Kalan contested the election from Shahkot constituency in the year 2022 on the Aam Aadmi Party ticket and secured around 29000 votes.
The Speaker prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
