A team of Punjab Agenda Forum & Punjab Against Corruption members today briefed the ‘Reservation Chor Fado Morcha’ at their dharna site about it meeting with the Vigilance Bureau chief Varinder Sharma IPS yesterday.
Satnam Daun and Jang Singh informed the Dalit Morcha of VB Chief’s decision to re-examine the entire case registered against whistleblower Balbir Singh Alampur. The task has been assigned to VB director, Rahul S IPS.
DGP Varinder Sharma was informed about 18 noteworthy videos prepared and made public by Punjab Dastavez, investigative news channel on the fake Dalit certificates issue. These news reports would help the VB to reach the truth as to how a select group of VB officers acted with prejudice and bias, especially SI Ranjit Singh, reader to AIGF Manmohan Sharma of the flying squad wing.
The story of blackmailing and extortion floated by SI Ranjit Singh was aided and funded by a few officers who entered the All India civil services using fake Dalit caste certificates.
The PAF appealed to the Dalit Morcha organiser to join hands with it achieve the goal of justice and fair play as destined under the Constitution of India.
