Chandigarh: On 109th day of the silent protest, the teachers of panjab university sat on the dharna outside the VC office. Dr Minto Rattan from UIET addressed the gathering and said that the administration should not ignore the concerns of the community and the employees who were expecting the new VC to arrange for the funds needed to release the arrears are not satisfied with the administration.
Dr Pankaj Srivastav, chairperson of philosophy Department, said that the teacher community is anxious and anytime the latent can exhibit itself. The administrator of the university should press for the demands more strongly if the measure the administrator has adopted have not been fruitful.
