Chandigarh: Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, in collaboration with various cultural clubs of the college and PECFEST, hosted an electrifying Open Mic event that showcased vibrant cultural performances by talented students. The Open Mic 2023, was organized at the Open-Air Theatre (OAT) on 13th October 2023.
Students from different academic years, especially from the first year, came forward to exhibit their remarkable talents through captivating performances. The evening featured energetic Bhangra, captivating musical performances by the Music Club, heartfelt poems and Shayari presented by the Punjabi, Hindi, and English Editorial Boards, mesmerizing dance performances, and engaging theatrical plays by DRAMS, as well as side-splitting comedy shows.
The event was orchestrated under the guidance of Dr. D. R. Prajapati, Dean Student Affairs (DSA) and Dr. Puneet Chawla, Associate Dean Student Affairs (ADSA).
The Open Mic 2023 drew an immense crowd, and the vibrant performances were met with resounding applause, exemplifying the rich talent pool within the PEC. Students and attendees enjoyed the event and were enthralled by the captivating performances, making it a memorable evening.
