Parminder Singh Dhindsa unfolds BJP leaders’ plan to join Badals

BJP and RSS have a big hand in fielding Badals and BJP candidates on the reserved seats of BSP

Sukhbir Badal using BSP as a puppet is a blatant betrayal to BSP supporters: Dhindsa

CHANDIGARH: Senior Leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt), MLA and former Finance Minister, Mr Parminder Singh Dhindsa today slammed Punjab BJP leaders for joining Akali Dal.

Slamming Badal’s, he said that the unethical manner in which Sukhbir Singh Badal by cleverly declaring the leaders of Punjab BJP who have joined the Akali Dal in the reserved seats of the BSP, clearly shows that the BJP and the RSS are behind alliance between the Akali Dal and BSP. Sukhbir Badal is using BSP’s name only for political gain, said Mr Dhindsa.

Mr Dhindsa said that the seats on which BJP leaders had been declared candidates in the past by including them in SAD-BJP were already reserved for BSP candidates and now Sukhbir Singh Badal had very cleverly manipulated these seats for himself and BJP.

By fielding candidates, Sukhbir Badal is using the BSP cadre only for political gain, said Sh. Dhindsa.

Mr Dhindsa said that earlier also Sukhbir Singh Badal had declared Lakhwinder Singh Lakhi, an active leader of Akali Dal from Tanda Assembly Constituency as a candidate for the reserved seat of BSP.

Mr Dhindsa expressed surprise that the Akali Dal was occupying the BSP seats but not a single word was uttered by the BSP high command or any of its local leaders against Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Mr Dhindsa said that looking at all the circumstances it seems that Sukhbir Badal had bought the BSP on the pretext of money and he was now making BSP dance like a puppet by enslaving them. He said that Sukhbir Badal is blatantly betraying BSP supporters. The people of Punjab and especially the Dalit community need to be aware of this betrayal being done by Sukhbir Badal.

Mr Dhindsa said that the systematic manner in which the BJP leaders are joining Akali Dal indicates that even today the internal alliance between Akali Dal and BJP is intact and the SAD-BJP alliance with the BJP and RSS is in full swing.
