Teachers injured while marching towards the capital and Chandigarh police tried to stop them
Dawn Punjab Bureau / SAS Nagar : ”District Administration SAS Nagar has helped the teachers those who were injured while marching towards the capital and Chandigarh Police has tried to stop them. District Administration has immediately shifted the injured teachers in the hospitals and continuously looking after them for their help. The patients were medically examined and their X-Rays were done. They were all found medically stable. “
Disclosing this Girish Dyalan, Deputy Commissioner, S A S Nagar said that the meeting of the teachers with the Education Minister which was scheduled for today was postponed till tomorrow due to some unavoidable reasons. After which the teachers had started their march.
The Deputy Commissioner said that it would be ensured that the meeting would take place tomorrow. Earlier also various meetings of teachers were arranged and similarly district administration would ensure full support and facilitation during tomorrow’s meeting also.
