AMRITSAR: Additional Deputy Commissioner Development Arun Sharma said that in order to reduce unemployment in Punjab, Punjab Skill Development Mission conducts free basic courses for the poor unemployed girls.
Disclosing this here today Additional Deputy Commissioner Development said that Microsoft and NSDC Has partnered with more than one lakh women in India to increase the number of women workers in India for their empowerment. He said that under this series Punjab Skill Development Mission would conduct 70 hours free course to uplift the living standards of women.
The course will focus on four areas, first digital productivity, second English, third employability and fourth entrepreneurship. To do this course the girl / woman must be 18 to 30 years of age and have passed at least 8th standard.
