Kulwant Singh assures Bhagwant Mann to win Mohali constituency for Aam Aadmi Party
- Mohali : Aam Aadmi Party wave is in full swing in Punjab and as soon as the voting button is pressed on the voting machine on February 20, a “beep” will be heard which means that the Congress party and Akali Dal leaders are screaming.
- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann while talking to reporters here today held a roadshow in favour of AAP candidate Kulwant Singh from Mohali in different areas including village Balongi, Phase 3B2, Sector 79 and Sector 82 of Mohali. While addressing the people during the road show, Bhagwant Mann said that the enthusiasm of the people in Mohali today is a testament to the fact that AAP candidate Kulwant Singh, who had risen from a very simple family and reached the heights with his hard work, would win a landslide victory.
Residents of Balongi village in Mohali constituency accused Congress candidate Balbir Singh Sidhu and his brother Amarjit Singh Jiti Sidhu of rampant corruption, and pressurising them to support congress by unfair means. Bhagwant Mann demanded strict action against Sidhu brothers in Mohali constituency. Meanwhile, Bhagwant Mann assured the residents of Balongi that with the formation of AAP government, strict action would be taken against Sidhu brothers and justice would be served to the people.
Lashing out at the Badals, Bhagwant Mann said that we had already said that the Badal’s helicopter would be landed on ground and that has been proved. He said that Mr. Sukhbir Badal during his election campaign had announced that he would provide loans to the children going abroad but the Aam Aadmi Party was of the view that instead of sending the youth of Punjab abroad, employment should be arranged in Punjab itself. He said that after the formation of Aam Aadmi Party government, the children of Punjab would be ridden free of drugs and would be provided with employment.
Kulwant Singh welcomed Bhagwant Mann and assured that by winning the Mohali seat, the Aam Aadmi Party would become stronger and employment opportunities would be created for the youth by eradicating corruption and hooliganism.
Aam Aadmi Party leaders Narinder Singh Shergill, Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia, Prabhjot Kaur, Councilor Sukhdev Singh Patwari, Councilor Gurmeet Kaur, Ramanpreet Kaur Kumbhadra, Sarabjit Singh Samana, Kuldeep Singh Samana, State Awardee Fulraj Singh, Surinder Singh Roda Sohana, Kamaljit were present alongwith Bibi Jasbir Kaur Atali, Nambardar Harsangat Singh Sohana, Akvinder Singh Gosal, Harmesh Singh Kumbhra and a large number of AAP leaders and workers.
