IPR Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra condoles the demise of Senior Photojournalist Santokh Singh

Chandigarh :

          Punjab Information and Public Relations Minister Sardar Chetan Singh Jauramajra today expressed profound grief over the passing of senior photojournalist Santokh Singh.

          Late Sardar Santokh Singh (78), who was fondly known as ‘Taya Ji’ in the journalist fraternity, had been unwell for some time and was undergoing treatment in the hospital. He breathed his last this morning.

          While remembering the services of Sardar Santokh Singh, the Cabinet Minister acknowledged his extensive contributions as a photojournalist in various newspapers and his compassionate and charismatic personality. He said that Sardar Santokh Singh, who dedicated his entire life to work diligently, would remain a source of inspiration for the next generations of journalists.

          Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, S. Chetan Singh Jauramajra prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.

          The late Santokh Singh is survived by his son Inderjit Singh (Senior Cameraman) and a daughter.
