24 schools hailing from Chandigarh, Mohali, Ropar, and Kurali
Mohali :
Brookfield International School organized Opinionator -2023 Inter-School Debate Competition at its Campus. As many as 24 schools hailing from Chandigarh, Mohali, Ropar, and Kurali participated in the event . Judges of the event were Ashok Kumar Kaushal, Vineet Walia, Seema, Dr. Manjeet Kochhar, Harpreet Maan ,Rama Sharma, Inderpal, Richard Donald, and Kuldip Dhiman. The centerpiece of the event was the spirited debate competition, where students from various schools showcased their exceptional oratory skills and critical thinking. The competition was fierce, and the judges faced the challenging task of evaluating the participants.
In the Senior Category, St. Mary’s won the First Prize, followed by St. Anne’s in the Second Prize position, and St. Joseph’s was at third place. In the Junior Category, Brookfield International School displayed an impressive performance, securing the coveted First Prize. St. Anne’s School earned the Second Prize with their remarkable debate skills. A commendable performance by Saupins Chandigarh earned them the Third Prize.
The President of Brookfield International school, Manav Singla, and the Patron, Neelam Singla . while Congratulating the winners said that such events are very important for students to be expressive and foster the critical thinking , which was evident throughout the competition. The Opinionator 2023 Debate Competition showcased the collective efforts of the participating schools and the commitment to nurturing the intellectual growth of students
