Chandigarh: The Ranji Trophy match being played between host Goa and Chandigarh ended in a draw at Porvorim .
UT boys were all out for 479 in reply to Goa’s first innings score of 618/7. The star of the inning was Kunal Mahajan who scored 147 runs with twenty boundaries.
Overnight batter Rajangad Bawa also played a magnificent innings of 90 runs with the help of 11 boundaries and one six. Arsalan Khan contributed 84 runs. For the opposition, Darshan Misal (5/110) took five while Mohit Redkar (3/113) took three wickets.
Goa scored 25 runs in its second innings without losing any wicket. Both the captains settled for a draw well before the tea.
Chandigarh’s next match is scheduled against Gujarat at its home ground Sector 16 Cricket Stadium from January 19.
