Farmers’ concerns will be raised again during the coming Parliament session- Manish Tewari, MP

Dawn Punjab bureau / SAS Nagar :   Member Lok Sabha from Anandpur Sahib and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today said that the Congress party has stood shoulder to shoulder with the farmers against the controversial Central Agriculture laws. We have supported farmers before as well as after the enactment of the law and till date strongly oppose the black agri laws.

Addressing various public meetings held at Kurali, Kharar and Naya Gaon, including Majri village in Kharar assembly constituency, where Tewari interacted to get the feedback on the problems of the area, he reiterated that Congress is with farmers and is absolutely anti-agri laws. Tewari emphasized that he had personally raised the voice in Parliament against these laws and would continue to raise the voice of farmers in the Lok Sabha during the coming monsoon session of Parliament.

Meanwhile, he also lashed out at the building mafia and promised justice to the people who have been cheated upon by them.
Speaking on the occasion former Minister Mr. Jagmohan Singh Kang said that the development of the constituency was his priority and with support of Mr. Manish Tewari MP he was working on a number of projects for the development of the region.

Among others, Mr. Yadavinder Singh Kang Vice Chairman Infotech, Mr. Pawan Dewan Chairman Punjab Large Industrial Development Board, Sarpanch Jagdeep Singh Majri, Labh Singh Chairman Block Samiti, Ranjit Singh Jiti President Municipal Council Kurali, Councillor Nandi Pal Bansal, Rana Ravinder Singh , Gopal Sareen, Kuldeep Singh Panch, Madan Singh Sarpanch Manikpur, Mr. Ranjit Singh, Rana Rai Singh, Yashpal Bansal President Congress(Urban) Kharar, Rajbir Singh Raji Councilor Kharar were also present on the occassion.
