Kejriwal should pay Rs 32,000 crore to Punjab then talk about his guarantees

Sanyukt Samaj Morcha SSM Candidate from Mohali Ravneet Brar slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leader Raghav Chadha and said that for the last 15 years Delhi government has been taking water from Punjab for free but sadly during the peasant struggle for more than a year, could not even provide drinking water to the farmers of Punjab who were sitting on the borders of Delhi. The farmers of Punjab had to purchase and use valuable water.
Ravneet Brar questioned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said, “why he is coming to Punjab and distributing guarantees of Rs. 1 Thousand? However, the truth is that Delhi has been getting free water from Punjab for the last 15 years it would be great if Arvind Kejriwal pay to Punjab for its water money.”
He further said that Delhi gets 812 cusecs of water from Himachal Pradesh for which Rs. 21 crores is given to Himachal Pradesh annually. At that rate, 1.25 lakh cusecs of water from Punjab goes to Delhi at Rs 32,000 crore.
“Mr Kejriwal should immediately pay the price for Punjab’s waters.” He demanded.
Brar also questioned the chairman of Delhi Jal Board Raghav Chadha and said that Raghav Chadha is coming to Punjab with his big mouth and addressing press conferences daily but mum about free water from Punjab.
Brar further said that if there was any shame in Arvind Kejriwal, the farmers sitting on the borders of Delhi would not have to buy water. He demanded that the Kejriwal government should immediately release Rs. 32,000 crore for the waters of Punjab or else should not expect votes from the People of Punjab.
