PSPCL committed to provide uninterrupted power supply to residents
Dawn Punjab Bureau / Chandigarh : Admitting that the power supply faults and unscheduled power cuts imposed in past few days were due to technical constraints and generation related issues, a spokesman from the local electricity department assured that with the ever increasing power demand PSPCL is committed to ensure uninterrupted power supply to residents of Mohali.
Apprising about the remedial measures in place, it was informed that with imposition of power regulatory measures on industrial consumers, there has been no power cut in areas under Mohali division. Further, the damaged cables are also being replaced with higher size cables to ensure uninterrupted power supply. The categorisation of feeders of Mullanpur and Seonk has also been upgraded on pattern of Mohali city thereby ensuring no power cuts shall be imposed.
