Chandigarh:
The annual function of Divya Public School Sector 44 was organized in the school premises. On this occasion, Shipra Bansal, Chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, was present as the chief guest. The function was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the chief guest.
After Ganesh Vandana and Shiv Tandav, Divya Education Society President OP Goyal welcomed the chief guest and other guests by presenting a sapling. The children of Pre Nursery presented Welcome Dance, the children of Class III presented Butterfly of the Paradise. A play named Success Mantra was staged .Students from classes 6 to 8 participated in the presentation on Chandrayaan.
Overall the ceremony was filled with dance variations.
A confluence of Bhangra, Indo Western Fusion, Global Melody, Mickey Mouse Dance, Gujarati Folk, Yoga was seen. The chief guest advised the students to focus on personality and skill development. The annual function ended with Bhangra and fusion dance and just before this, Principal Rajesh Kamal thanked everyone.
