Dawn Punjab Bureau / SAS Nagar : Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized a live talk show with a well-known radio jockey to provide firsthand experience to its Journalism and Mass Communication students. Radio presenter RJ Meenakshi Bhojwani from My FM explained what it takes to make a place in this glamour world of Media. According to her entering the glamorous world of journalism and mass communication is no easy task, but things can become easier if you can garner the right education and can get a good start. The other path to achieve success in this industry is long and cumbersome and students may not get the result they always wanted. She also highlighted about the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication degree and how this degree can ease up the dream of becoming RJ or a media professional. She appreciated the way education is imparted in CGC Jhanjeri and will prepare them to handle real world demands of this industry in a better and composed manner.
Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said at the moment that an RJ must have good humour and being able to express his or her feelings in a way that no one is hurt but still put thoughts forward. He further while encouraging the students to work hard informed about the increase in demand for radio jockey and media professionals as many more channels are planned to be opened in coming years.
