Riding on his various development works which he started in Mohali in the past years, Sidhu is seeking his fourth straight win in the assembly poll scheduled on Feb 20.
He said that he has a direct connection with the people in Mohali constituency.
“I am not the leader of the Mohali people; I am their ‘sevadaar’ to whom serving his people gives immense joy and happiness. From the past many years including my three terms as MLA I am doing this and will keep on doing this,”
He further said,” Going by the sentiments and feelings in Mohali people towards Congress party this time, I am sure that people of Mohali will set a new record of my victory margin,”
The huge response of the public to the road show could be seen everywhere as people were standing alongside roads, their house balconies and roofs waiving Congress flags and sloganeering in Congress favour.
Exhorting the public to support him, Sidhu said, “This time there is a stronger wave than last time in Congress favour. A lot of enthusiasm is being shown by the people and Congress is going to form the government in Punjab by securing a landslide victory”.
