ANURAG AGGARWAL UNANIMOUSLY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF MOHALI INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION

S.A.S Nagar:  The decision by some of the contesting candidates to withdraw their nominations paved the way for a unanimous election to the Executive Committee 2021-22 of Mohali Industries Association.

The Returning Officer Mr.Sanjeev Vashisht called all the eligible contesting candidates who expressed that in the interest of unity and brotherhood of the Industry some of the contesting candidates would withdraw their candidature. With this, for nine seats of the Executive Committee, nine members remained. The Executive Committee then themselves unanimously elected Mr.Anurag Aggarwal as President, Mr.Vivek Kapoor as Vice President, Mr.Jagdeep Singh as Vice President, and Mr.Rajeev Gupta as General Secretary amongst other Office Bearers.

Taking charge as President of MIA for the second time Mr.Anurag Aggarwal thanked all the candidates who had withdrawn their candidature which had helped in maintaining the tradition of the Association of unanimous election to the Executive Committee

He said that a lot of work had been done by the outgoing Executive Committee headed by Shri Yogesh Sagar and he would continue to work with the same vigor and commitment. He said that he will strive to take up all issues of the members with the Government effectively and upliftment of industry in the region.
