AAP leaders in Mohali today observed a hunger strike in Pandal at Market in Phase 3B2 Mohali against the arrest of party national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
AAP leaders sitting on fast alleged that the central agencies are acting like political weapons of the BJP.
It is pertinent to mention here that AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, was arrested by the ED on March 21, was sent to judicial custody until April 15 and is lodged in Tihar Jail in connection with a money-laundering case linked to a liquor excise policy scam.
Several state and district Mohali leaders participated in the fast. District Mohali Secretary Subhash Sharma, Govinder Mittal, Adv Amardeep Kaur, Anu Babbar, Rehmat Juneja, Prabhjot, Mandeep, Akbinder Gosal, Amit Jani and many AAP leaders participated in fast.
