Aamir Khan first started his career as a child artist. He made his debut in the year 1984 with the film Holi. Then he got his first commercial success with the 1988 film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
This was followed by another thriller film Raakh (1989) which won several awards. In the 1990s, he made a name for himself in Hindi cinema by giving more than one successful films. His most successful films at that time included Dil (with Madhuri Dixit in 1990), Raja Hindustani (with Karisma Kapoor in 1996), and Sarfarosh (with Sonali Bendre in 1999).

Marriage of Aamir Khan
