Many AAP families of the colonies joined the Akali Dal
The leaders joining Akali Dal said : would contest the election of SAD-BSP candidate Parvinder Sohana on their own
Mohali: In Mohali Assembly constituency, the Aam Aadmi Party suffered a major setback when a large number of leaders and families of Aam Aadmi Party in Phase 11, Amb Sahib Colony, Phase 9, Guru Nanak Colony, Pant Colony, Jagatpura Colony and many other areas of Mohali, joined Shiromani Akali Dal under the leadership of AAP leader Vikas. This has given a strong response to the election campaign of Shiromani Akali Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Parvinder Singh Sohana.
On this occasion these leaders and families who left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the Shiromani Akali Dal said that the Aam Aadmi Party in Mohali had given a ticket to a wealthy business man Kulwant Singh and even meeting him is not possible for a common man. They said that it takes many days to meet his staff, so how can the grievances of the people of Mohali be solved in such a situation. They said that this was the reason why they had left Aam Aadmi Party and joined Shiromani Akali Dal.
They said that they will personally contest the election of Parvinder Singh Sohana, a young candidate of Shiromani Akali Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party who possesses a friendly and cordial nature and this fight was no longer Parvinder Singh Sohana’s but their own.
On this occasion Parvinder Singh Sohana, joint candidate of Shiromani Akali Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party warmly welcomed these families and leaders to join Shiromani Akali Dal. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal was a party of common people and all of them would be accorded due respect in the party.
Apart from Aam Aadmi Party leader Vikas, Akali Dal District Secretary General Karamjit Singh Kamma Badi, Preet Rathore President Youth Akali Dal Colony Cell, Bharat, Sanju, Lucky, Chhotu, Gurpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh, Baljit Singh, Aneet, Chhinda, Aman, Kamal, Manish, Rohit and many other families were present.
