Mohali : After seven decades of independence of the country, only the Aam Aadmi Party has emerged as the only party , which has forced the country’s traditional parties to reach out to common people and work for public welfare.Kulwant Singh, Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Mohali, expressed these views while addressing election meetings in various villages of Mohali here today.
He said that the previous governments of Akali Dal and Congress party have been cheating the people of Punjab.
Even educated employees are being cheated. In the name of convincing the contractual workers, Akali Dal first gathered votes and then in its last year did drama. After that, the Captain Sarkar crossed all the limits, which had come to the Legislative Assembly after collecting votes by promising to regularise contractual workers on the very first day, as soon as the government is formed, but did not do anything for the employees.
In the end, “N” number of announcements made by the Chief Minister of 111 days, also included regularising 36 thousand contractual employees, but those announcements also went in the air.
Kulwant Singh said that during the last 8 years, 36,000 employees of Punjab were not regularised by any of the Congress, Captain, Akali Dal or BJP and then the candidates of these parties only make these just to get the power and loot people.
He said that the real thing is that the political parties like Congress, Akali and BJP only take political advantage of the issues of the people. For them, the issues, problems and demands of the common people are only political ladders, with the help of which they come to power and then keep looting Punjab for five-five years.
Kulwant Singh said that all these political parties have proved unsuccessful in completing the issues related to the common people of Punjab, but these issues will be completed after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab. Like the previous Akali and Congress governments, no issue will be hung over the years. He said that people will give thumping majority to the Aam Aadmi Party by casting votes on the election symbol ‘Broom’ on the coming February 20.
