Bhavan Vidyalaya New Chandigarh hosted a Phonics Workshop on April 20, 2024, tailored for Pre-primary and Primary teachers of the school and Bhavan Vidyalaya, Junior Wing, Sector 33, Chandigarh . Dr. Deepti Gupta, Dean International Studies and a distinguished professor of English at Panjab University, conducted the workshop empowering educators with cutting-edge phonics teaching methodologies. The workshop provided a unique opportunity for teachers to understand how they can use various teaching strategies to include phonics for language teaching.
Dr. Gupta expertly explored phonics, drawing from her extensive 35-year career as both an esteemed educator and administrator and her profound expertise in Linguistics and Literature enriched the learning experience.
