Police Checks whereabouts of 293 Suspicious Persons

As a part of statewide Cordon and Search Operation (CASO), District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Police launched a search operation in 21 Hot Spot Areas.
Led by ADGP Cyber Crime , V. Neerja and SSP Dr Sandeep Garg, during the operation, Police teams approached 293 suspicious persons to check their activities.
Divulging the more details, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr Sandeep Garg said that during the search operation two SP rank, Six DSP rank police officers led police parties based on 13 SHOs, Six Inspectors of Police and 297 Police Personnel.
The police teams checked the antecedents of the criminals out on bail and their current activities.
He further said that three motorbikes were rounded up while 24 liquor bottles were recovered from a Santro Car including two persons from Zirakpur. Similarly 300 Grams of Ganja was recovered from a person during the operation at Kharar City.
