SAS Nagar :
To ensure that all Central Government Schemes reach to the masses in the state of Punjab, Alok Shekhar Additional Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India, personally visited village Kuradi and addressed the gathering in the camp organized under Viksat Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
Shekhar visited all the stalls installed by various government departments focusing their schemes for the awareness of the general public. He expressed his satisfaction over the implementation of central government schemes in SAS Nagar district. He also requested all the persons who were present there to avail the benefits of all government schemes and suggested to publicize state government run schemes too in this yatra, scheduled for the awareness of the general public.
ADC (D) Mrs Sonam Chaudhary also attended the function and made people aware about the governement schemes and urged them to avail the benefit of all schemes in a true manner as the Viksit Bharat sankalp Yatra would cover all the villages in the district by January 26, 2024.
Lead District Manager, PNB, Mohali, M K Bhardwaj apprised of financial beneficial schemes being run by the banks like PMSBY, PMJJBY and Atal Pension Yojna which are also the part of this ongoing campaign. Many people enrolled themselves on the spot for the social security schemes.
Representatives from Petroleum companies also made people aware about PM Ujjawala schemes and people listened to them carefully. The District Health department also enrolled the eligible persons for the Ayushmaan card on the spot and examined the people for various diseases. Sarpanch of village Chhajja Singh welcomed all the guests and officials during the event.
Sanjit Koundal Deputy Circle Head PNB Mohali, presented the vote of thanks and thanked all the dignitaries and general public for participation in the event.
The villagers also witnessed the government schemes through the LED Van and working of Drones for the spray of Nano Urea during the camp.
