Big boost for Chandigarh flyers! New café, free Wi-Fi, Digi Yatra & kids zone launching at airport on March 24

In a significant development for air travelers, Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport is set to witness the inauguration of multiple modern passenger facilities on March 24, 2026.
The event will be led by the Union Minister of Civil Aviation, who will dedicate a range of new amenities aimed at enhancing passenger convenience and overall travel experience. Key facilities to be launched include Udaan Yatri Café, Wi-Fi services, Digi Yatra system, and a dedicated Kids Zone. These upgrades will also be virtually inaugurated at other airports across the country.
The ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 AM at the City Side Arrival Area of the airport.
Officials from Chandigarh International Airport Limited stated that these initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to modernize airport infrastructure and provide seamless, tech-enabled services to passengers.
The move is expected to significantly improve passenger satisfaction and position Chandigarh airport as a more traveler-friendly hub in North India.
