Today Total 6 different animals of Chhatbir zoo have been adopted for 1 year by Delhi Public School,Chandigarh. Principal Reema Deewan send a Deligation of 5 students and Teacher to handover the cheque and requisit form of adoption. Remma Deewan told that Delhi Public School frequently partakes multiple collaborative, experiential learning activities.
Fostering the SEWA philosophy, the aim of community service, the young learners enthusiastically engaged the parent fraternity and made them aware about conservation of wildlife, values of environment and bio-diversity.
They earnestly participated in the activity and pledged to shoulder their civil responsibility to become caring and compassionate citizens of the future. Delhi Public school, Chandigarh adopted Goral, Ostrich, Black Swan, Chinkra, Swamp Deer and Sarus cran
Field Director Kalpana.K told that it is very good for the wildlife conservation when schools, industrialists and Individuals came forward for this noble cause and adopted zoos animals regularly. It is high time for us, we should have taken some little responsibility for the precious wildlife of our state and join the hands of our nation with adopting a zoo animal.
