Dawn Punjab Bureau / Chandigarh : The Department of Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Chandigarh Administration is implementing the Social Security Pension Schemes viz. Old Age Pension, Financial Assistance to Widows and Destitute Women, Pension to Disabled Persons and Pension to Dependent Children of Widows. The payment under the schemes is being disbursed on monthly basis in Aadhaar seeded bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The Department disbursed the pension amounting to Rs. 312.93 lacs to 28848 beneficiaries under various Pension Schemes in the month of May, 2021. The detail is as under:-
